A few years ago, I was invited abroad to photograph a beautiful, diverse collection. A collection once described by Top Gear as ‘The best car collection in the world’... Transporting these cars to my studio turned out not to be an option because of too many and too far, so at my behest, we built a studio on site at the client's premises.

I got just over one hundred and forty (!) rare cars in front of the lens. The result of this titanic work was bundled in a beautiful triptych: three 300-page books, collected in a cardboard cover with luxurious linen finish and silver foil print accents. They covered the vehicles chronologically. A dozen photos, a personal text, a general history and the technical specifications of each car were displayed in a ‘clean’ layout. In a limited edition of only 100 pieces - numbered with a genuine chassis plate - this masterwork was handed out by the customer to his friends as a Christmas present.

The customer seemed to be very happy wth the result as well: "The books are even better than I hoped for, truly great work !! Thanks !"
